Touch of Class Auto Wash

Project: Touch of Class Auto Wash

Location:  Muskegon, MI

Project Type: Addition and Renovation

BCI Construction provided general contracting services for an addition and renovation at Touch of Class Auto Wash. The project added 1,564 square feet to the existing car wash tunnel and changed its orientation to improve site circulation and operational flow. This reconfiguration required adjustments to the parking layout and included setting the foundation for an automated drive-through lane integrated into the new tunnel design. The project also involved remodeling approximately 1,271 square feet of existing tunnel and office space, constructing a 420-square-foot second-story mezzanine for added storage and display, and updating the building façade for a refreshed exterior appearance.

Although the majority of the specialized car wash equipment was installed by the owner, BCI played a significant role in coordinating the placement, structure, and accessibility of the systems to ensure a precise fit and seamless operation.

BCI self-performed several key trades on this project, including demolition, carpentry, siding, metal roofing, and installation of Extrutech Polyboard Wall Panels, contributing hands-on expertise to maintain quality and efficiency throughout construction.
