BCI Construction provided general contracting services for The Borough project, overseeing the construction of a new 1,300-SF full-service cafe located in Allendale near the GVSU campus. BCI self-performed interior and exterior carpentry, including millwork and wood siding installation. The cafe’s exterior showcases a blend of metal, wood, and EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finishing System) finishes. The interior is thoughtfully designed, featuring a contemporary dining area, a versatile seating counter that doubles as space for beverage and food prep., a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy sitting area with a fireplace, and bathrooms. The space also includes a large glass garaged door that can be open seasonally providing access to an outdoor patio featuring a gas fireplace.
