Project: Byron Center High School

BCI Construction was the general contractor for the Byron Center High School project, which consisted of an addition and major site renovation. Other improvements included a new entrance, a grand foyer, and a roof upgrade.

 

The current building was renovated and modernized to improve the overall functionality of the space. The cafeteria was expanded and classrooms and a fitness room were added. The new addition provides administrative space and a media center. Renovations changed the site circulation, bus loading, car loading, and parking lot locations.

 

This project was a phased approach that required the construction of new portions of the building prior to the renovation in order to keep the school in continuous operation.
